MUSICIANS
Dr. Blaire K.S. Koerner is an accomplished bassoonist, educator, and career advisor. As a bassoonist, Dr. Koerner is a founding member of Hats + Heels Duo, a quirky ensemble of bassoon and harp that aim to engage audiences through the universal intrigue of an entertaining story. As a freelancer in upstate New York, she has been a guest artist with groups such as Ensemble Signal, Syracuse Orchestra, June in Buffalo Festival, Antara Winds, and Broadway’s tour of My Fair Lady.

As an educator, Dr. Koerner has over 15 years of experience as a studio professor and classroom
instructor. Currently, Dr. Koerner is an adjunct instructor of Arts Leadership at Eastman School of Music where she oversees undergraduate and graduate courses on building strategies for performance, designing a music career, and supporting Master of Arts in Music Leadership capstone projects. As a studio professor, she was the adjunct bassoon instructor for Syracuse University’s (SU) Setnor School of Music from 2018-2025. From 2016-2024, Dr. Koerner was the bassoon instructor and woodwind chamber coach at Eastman Community Music School (ECMS).
As the Associate Director of the Institute for Music Leadership (IML) at Eastman School of Music, Dr. Blaire Koerner provides resources and opportunities for creatives to envision, create and sustain successful careers in an ever-changing field. In this role, she oversees the Catherine Filene Shouse Arts Leadership Certificate of Achievement, IML curriculum of 25+ courses, and partnerships with 50+ organizations which regularly host Eastman interns. In addition, she advises graduate students and young alums on discovering professional and artistic goals.
Dr. Koerner completed her DMA and M.M. at the Eastman School of Music in Bassoon Performance.

Known for her quirky and engaging performances, Dr. Rosanna Moore is fast gaining recognition internationally as a harpist and actress appearing as a soloist, chamber musician or orchestral player.

Moore has won accolades for her performances with the World Harp Festival, Marcel Tournier and Tierra47 competitions. Her writings have recently been published by both Harp Column and Contemporary Music Review. She was awarded the O1B visa which recognises her as an ‘individual of extraordinary ability’.

In the 22/23 season, she performed the US premiere of Kelly Marie-Murphy’s cello and harp concerto, performed the Ginastera and Debussy concerti, and toured Michael Betteridge’s new work ‘Voices of the Sands’. In the 23/24 season she will premiere ‘Extraordinary Motion: Concerto for Electric harp and Orchestra’ by Grammy winner, DJ Sparr with New Hampshire Symphony, conducted by Roger Kalia.

As an educator, Rosanna is Assistant Lecturer of Harp at Dublin Conservatoire. She completed her doctorate at the Eastman School of Music with a minor in theatre, Performers’ Certificate and Arts Leadership certificate. Prior to this, she studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and Chetham’s School of Music.
